Alex Hitzinger

Alex Hitzinger (born 23 October 1971 in Passau) is a German engineer, recently 'Head of Advanced Technologies' for Red Bull F1 and Scuderia Toro Rosso.

Hitzinger temporary filled the Technical Director of the Scuderia Toro Rosso Formula One team between mid-2006 and mid-2007 Formula One season, replaced Gabriele Tredozi in the position before transferred the position to Giorgio Ascanelli.

Hitzinger having previously worked for Cosworth, firstly as Head of the Ford-Cosworth World Rally Championship programme and then as Head of F1 Development.
